Summary:

The article briefly describes the results of fundamental, exploratory and applied scientific research by research staff of the Institute of Geology of the UFRC RAS in 2021–2026 in areas: stratigraphy and paleontology of the Urals and the eastern margin of the Russian Platform; geodynamics, magmatism, metamorphism, geophysics and paleomagnetism of folded structures and platforms using the Urals and adjacent territories as an example; the formation and distribution patterns of ore and non-metallic mineral deposits and hydrocarbon raw materials using the Urals and adjacent territories as an example; isotope geochemistry of sedimentary, igneous and ore-bearing complexes; geoecology and hydrogeology of the Urals and the eastern part of the Volga-Ural artesian basin; technogenic mineral resources of the Southern Urals.
