Geologicheskii Vestnik

The outstanding role of V.A. Maslov in the modern Devonian stratigraphy of the Magnitogorsk megazone is obvious to any Ural geologist. This article retrospectively reviews the main stages of conodont-based stratigraphic research from the 1970s to the 2000s. All significant results of long-term research in the stratigraphy of volcanogenic-sedimentary and volcanogenic formations are presented.
