Geologicheskii Vestnik

The paleontological characteristics of the boundary Artinskian-Kungurian deposits of the Mechetlino section are given. The main fauna groups (conodonts, ammonoids, foraminifera, brachiopods, fishes, trilobites) are described; evolutionary development of genera of conodonts and ammonoids is considered. The distribution of characteristic complexes along the section is shown in detail, their changes with time are analyzed.
