Authors: Maslov, Andrey V.

Summary:

Based on the investigation of fine-grained clastic/clayey rocks of shelf (~550 analyses) and turbidite (~220 analyses) sedimentary sequences of various ages, which are rocks of the first sedimentation cycle, it is shown that fundamental differences in the genesis/mode of accumulation of these sedimentary formations did not have a significant influence on their geochemical characteristics.

Keywords:

clayey rocks, shelf (near-shore and shallow-marine) and turbidite sedimentary sequences, discriminant diagrams
