Acknowledgements, referred grants, projects and sponsorships should be written in italics; key words should be written in a separate paragraph and translated into English.
The author shall provide the full translation of the abstract, references, captions, legends, table titles, notes to the tables. All submitted translations will be checked by the editorial board. If they introduce any changes, they will be agreed upon with the author(s).
When submitting a manuscript, please, pay attention to the following details:
Put your tables as close as possible to where they are mentioned first. Title your tables Table 1. Table title. Number your tables with Arabic numerals in the order they are mentioned in the article. Example of the table reference: (Table 1).
Making your illustrations make sure to comply with the following requirements.
Diagrams, photographs and figures can be full colour or grayscale. Make your figures using vector graphics editors and submit them in CDR (CorelDRAW X4 or earlier) or AI (Adobe Illustrator CS3 or earlier). Raster graphics (if photos require editing, save them as TIF) should be submitted in JPG format (save them at maximum or high resolution) or in TIF format (for scanned materials and line drawings). Raster graphics resolution should be at least 600 dpi for line drawings (Bitmap, Grayscale, RGB) and at least 300 dpi for full-color photographs (Grayscale, RGB). NEVER use the drawing function in МS Word.
It is mandatory to refer to the figure in the article. Reference example: 1) Fig. 1a, curve 2; 2) Fig. 2а–в; 3) (Fig. 1).
Illustrations, figure captions and any accompanying notes should be placed in the text immediately after the paragraph containing the first reference to the figure. If the figures show cropped images, a complete scanned copy of the entire original image (or images) should be provided as part of the supplementary materials.
If any form of image processing is essential for data interpretation, the software used and the enhancement method applied should be explicitly stated in the MATERIALS AND METHODS section of the manuscript. Image grouping and splicing should be clearly indicated both in the manuscript and in the figure legend.
It is preferable for the illustrations to have the following dimensions: width of 82.5 mm (column width), height including caption no more than 235 mm; — width of 120–170 mm (vertical page effective area width), height including caption no more than 235 mm; — width of 200–235 mm (horizontal page effective area width), height including caption no more than 170 mm.
The maps should indicate scales, north and south directions (use a standard arrow).
